^ I don’t get your point about Ahsoka. If Rey is trying to commune with her Jedi ancestors, and it’s a valid thing to do spoken up by the texts (presumably), then it must supersede or otherwise bypass the small handful of people that learned Qui-Gon’s little trick within the past few decades.
