isn't yeggman another word for a thief? in that case it wouldn't be a proper noun.

No, because illusion starts with an 'I' ans Escape ends in an 'E' so Illusion wouldn't work, plus it has absoulutely nothing to do with escape. I meant Elusion, as in 'to elude'.
