When Rey was deflecting the lightning from Palpatine I was expecting all the force ghosts to appear around her like the ghosts appear to Harry in the Goblet of Fire or Deathly Hallows. Instead we just hear voices and it was nice hearing everybody. Hell, even Freddie Prinze Jr as Kanan and Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka had their voices in there along with others. The little problem I have with that is I could only make out Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christenson, but I have zero clue what any of them are saying cause they overlap a bit too much. I could only make out Ewan saying “these are your final steps” and I think Hayden just saying “Rey, don’t give in” or something similar. I never even heard Liam Neeson or Samuel L. Jackson who arguably have the most recognizable voices of the bunch.

Maybe also inserting Anakin at the end with Luke and Leia on Tattooine without making it look too awkward like those old ROTJ Qui Gon edits on YouTube would be nice, especially if somebody were to put Ben Solo’s ghost with them if anybody, as it kind of felt incomplete seeing him vanish but not popping up as a ghost at all. It’s also funny to know that JJ just kind of stuck with “they had the force so they’re ghosts” idea when in canon it’s a whole process to become immortalized. Like when did Mace Windu or Luminara do any of that?
