My guess is you could potentially turn the first season into movie that’s around 2 hours long with aggressive editing. If the first couple chapters are anything to go off, with thirty minute episodes that sometimes tell a story of their own without greatly progressing the larger whole, it’d probably be easy to trim.
For instance, depending on what happens in the next few episodes concerning the baby Yoda, you could potentially cut episode 2 down to a single scene (leaving the planet).
I stand by this a potential (in fact you could be even more aggressive and cut out episode 2 entirely), but I also kinda like the idea of doing a series of movies. In that case, the first three episodes put together would make a fairly solid intro movie.
