Again 100% agree. If you are able to show the water sellers that would be great.
Related to narration, perhaps the cutscenes from Dune2000 (game) offer something usable.

Before Dr Yueh scans the fremen house servants in the Palace with Jessica there was a small dialogue bit about the water sellers which is unreleased. The shot of fremen outside the palace gates though is on the DVD.
He says something like “can you hear the water sellers calling Souk Souk” or something like that… It is in the script. But there is no further elaboration on this or that water selling was banned and a better system of free rationing was employed by the atreides.
The problem is that we never get a sense of the oppresssion the harkonnens inflicted on the fremen and how the atreides were much more compassionate.
