They definitely started from scratch at the negatives. All the 04/11 changes look slightly different, indicating that they recreated them.

As far as the UHD set goes, I’m certain that it’s not going to be Blade Runner style. If anything, I anticipate a “remastered” (i.e., not restored) version of the OUT. honestly, that’s all I want at this point. HD would be fine. I just want them available for the general public so they don’t fall into obscurity. I know for my sake, the 4KXX releases will always be an option, but that’s not the case for everyone.

Also, have there been any comparisons to determine if this is a new scan of TPM?
