In my experience, downscaling a 2160p UHD Blu-ray doesn’t look as good as a 1080p Blu-ray on a 1080p TV.
depends, using custom PC software/MadVR and such for playback it can often look better including crisper, but it depends upon how extreme the HDR grade for one
