To be able to imagine, what anti-American groups may think we need to go back to the early days of the Cold War. Communists always pictured (yes, propaganda posters included) Americans as power-hungry money-barons, dressed up as "uncle Sam", smoking cigars and counting their wealth - something close to Scrooge character. I'll bet the religious leaders in the Arabic countries use their shady ways of interpreting Koran to convince their people, that the reason for their poverty and misery is the insatiable American millionaire, who lives in shiny skyscrapper... those poor people blindly follow them and accept the holy war - Jihad - as their way of life. They fear not death, for the one who dies in the holy war gets -what? 49?- virgins to attend him in the afterlife
