I just watched the recent The Wizard of Oz and The Shining 4K Blu-rays this past weekend and may I say they look absolutely stunning and the best I’ve seen of older movies on the format.

Shame Star Wars will probably never get that kind of quality treatment.

It just boggles the mind. If I made a list of movies I thought people would consider important enough to get the highest quality treatment, Star Wars would be highest on that list. Huge fan base, historically and culturally significant, highly visual, maintained interest.

If anyone has the resources, Disney and Lucasfilm do.

I saw Casablanca, Blade Runner, and The Fifth Element in the theaters recently. They looked great. Is it possible I’ll never see my favorite movies properly again? It’s infuriating.

I have a ticket for the marathon leading up to The Rise of Skywalker. I can only imagine what they will look like.

Any idea of what to expect on Disney+ from the Originals?
