Somewhat random, but I appreciate how the prominence of the lightsabers is inversely correlated with the quality of the installment.

Not sure I buy that TPM is as good as you say. Does remind me though of a chart that accounted for lightsaber ignitions or something along those line which similarly inversely correlated with quality.

I will say on the whole, I don’t know if these will be the actual images we’ll see when Disney+ lunches in the US in a couple weeks, but it’s definitely better than the other artwork we’ve seen. Although it does bother me that the titles for TESB and TLJ are centered and the others aren’t. And, yes, the fact that the ST posters are photoshops and not hand drawn continues to be a disappointment. It would’ve been interesting to see them use the Struzan tease poster for TFA and the Dolby poster (by Paul Shipper I think?) for TLJ just to keep the style somewhat consistent.

But if D+ is anything like Netflix, the thumbnails won’t last very long before they’re changed again, so it kinda doesn’t matter.
