Albert Whitlock 1967 the Way West Matte put in had to remove the clouds because it is on Arrakis… But there is a nice extra bit of whitlock and using it for the moons also but anyway bit of fun 😃 Perhaps needs a bit of Lightning. Pleased with how it came out in the end.
moon shots are all clunky apart from the TV cut let water be a bond between us. Going to Use Superman 2 moon matte for second moon.
The Model Moon just looks wrong IMO and the matte moon looks Good that we see with the hand on it but the second moon just looks like a test shot.
they were obviously going for this in the film…

Check out the shot during shield practice also that is clearly not kyle McGlaughan… In fact the shot is not even needed it actually creates an issue being put in. Just delete…
