Initial impression is The Crow, but I'm pretty sure that's not right.

That was a fun little movie. I thought it was where Jeffrey Boam finally got the Indiana Jones thing right... unlike Last Crusade.

THE PHANTOM IS THE LONGEST RUNNING COMIC STRIP/BOOK IN HISTORY. IT EVEN PREDATES SUPERMAN BY AT LEAST A DECADE. LEE FAULK CAME UP WITH A REALLY COOL "HUMAN" CHARACTER.

I think it's too dated to be all that cool. This was probably a very cool idea back in the 50s and 60s. Kinda like Dick Tracy. Way too old to be cool anymore. Regardless of how high tech Locher tries to make his little gadgets.

I know that. I was talking about the last decade when the show/strip probably held any validity whatsoever. I don't see either being popular in the 70s and they would definitely be outdated in the 80s through today.

Phantom was around forever as a radio show. I've seen cassette/CD copies of the old show that I wanted to buy, but never did.

Futuristic animated version of the Phantom. Kinda did the same thing the Phantom movie did; the passing of the torch from one generation to another.
