Been trying to figure out the best most logical way to download a 42 gig file from Mega.
Seems to shut me down after about 5 gigs… then give me a waiting period of 5 hours, only to extend that wait longer after that time has expired. Have tried getting the extensions to my download quota, but nothing seems to work.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think if you make a free account and download the desktop program you should be good, right?

Yes, that’s what i started with. Creating a free account and getting the desktop program up and running. The Mega transfer manager only lets you download 5 gigs every 6 hours so it takes a while. I’ve managed to finish downloading the file twice now. But each time, somehow the large zip file becomes corrupted somewhere along the way. Not sure what i’m doing wrong as i keep everything up and running for the entire time of download. Any troubleshooting help would be appreciated greatly. Thank you and all the best to everybody.
Weird…I don’t think I’ve had that issue and I don’t remember paying Mega for a higher data cap…maybe I did and I’ll get a surprise charge to my account sometime soon. O.O
