Help; looking for... in TLJ, making Luke identical to his other appearances in the film...

Some people have changed the lightsaber that Luke uses in his duel with Kylo in TLJ to the green lightsaber from RotJ, whether it is because it would make the whole projection reveal more surprising or anything like that. However, what I’m going to talk about today is that I’m wondering if anyone has actually tried to make his APPEARANCE (hair & beard) identical to his other appearences in the film, by having it be long-ish and grey, to make the projection reveal very surprising.

The projection reveal was very easy to predict, mainly because Luke looks exactly the same as in the flashbacks, as well as using his father’s lightsaber that was recently split in half.

The unfortunate reality of the Star Wars prequel and Disney trilogies is that they will always be around. Forever. They will never go away. It can never be undone.

I also prefer to be referred to as “TNT”, not “Freezing”.

Very cool concept but it sounds almost impossible. CGI would nearly impossible to pull off as realistic. BUT maybe someone could possibly deepfake Luke’s older appearance onto Luke in that scene. Anyone know how to do that?

Here’s a deepfake tutorial I found on YouTube.

Wow, that’s a LOT of work! lol I hope somebody has enough time on their hands because I’d love to see it happen! 😃

I just realized something: you can only deepfake the face and not the hair on the head. Guess I’ll have to change Luke’s hair and beard color in After Effects…
