ACTUALLY, THE BEARS HAVE A REALLY GOOD CHANCE OF TAKING THEIR DIVISION THIS SEASON.
I don't think that is going to happen.

1. Minnesota has made some big time upgrades, as much as I hate to admit it. They played double-addition when they signed Darren Sharper from the Packers. Sure they lost Randy Moss, but he was a negative influence off the field. The past 2 years, the only reason they DIDN'T take the division was late-season collapses (last 2 seasons they went 3-7 in their final 10 games).

2. The Packers, while they've had a lot of trouble this off-season thanks to the salary cap (losing Wahle AND Riviera) and Mr. Rosenhaus (or Rosenhog as many Packer fans call him), are still a better team than the Bears. As Bossk said, anytime you have Favre on the opposite side of the field from you, you do NOT know what could happen.

3. The Lions are the division sleeper. They've shown signs of good things the past couple years.

4. The Bears have been the whipping boys of the division since 2000, which was really an aberation, because they did practically nothing before then either.
