Yes, I saw it last night… also DVR’d it to rewatch. CNN is on-demand on my system as well… also in HD. I examined the footage several times. It is definitely NOT an upscale of the GOUT. This is the original version of STAR WARS 1977 that is used… source unknown, but it is the original version. Han and Greedo scene original. Death Star explosion and escape original. At first I might have thought it was Harmy’s but now I think they have an HD restored source. Also, TCM (Turner Classic Movies) is showing a '70s Sci-Fi marathon starting July 30th at 5pm EST. They are showing Close Encoutners, Star Wars and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan… among many others all night long. Curious as to which version of Star Wars they will show… keep watching the skies
