It’s 5:00 AM, I’ve been listening to James Blunt’s Wisemen on repeat, I’m kind of tired.
I’m looking at my can tower of solos (6 cans) while I’m posting this I’m downloading a pack of NES Roms, but that doesn’t matter right now.
I’m scrolling threw discord, talkin anime and shit.
Music videos between 2002 - 2008 had a very soft yellow / green color palette.
My hair is getting long, need to get it cut.

When I watch a movie on Blu-Ray, I sometimes find myself wondering how much better 4k could really be. I mean, I can make out the individual stubble hairs on Marlon Brando’s chin for gods sake (One-Eyed Jacks). How much better could it be?
I get the potential benefits of HDR for certain movies, particular flashy sci fi flicks. But beyond that, am really missing anything?

Not really. There’s a ratio of pixel density to screen size to viewing distance, whereupon beyond a certain point you don’t really notice a difference. It matters mostly if you’re really close to the screen (such as desktop users,) or have a really, really large screen, but beyond that, you mostly just want it for the HDR.

Probably best to discuss that further on a porn site (or porn restoration site of choice) - and not here. Though thanks for sharing that ‘random thought’ mate.

Where were you in '77?
^ It was basically a combination of two of my favorite properties…Conan The Barbarian and Star Wars ! His sunsword was practically a lightsaber and Ookla was pretty much a Wookiee .Throw in that fact that a large portion of the show was designed by the late, great Jack Kirby , and what’s not to love ? glad you got the joke Wook !
Not to mention in the Thundarr universe Episode VI went out under it’s original title. 😉
Thundarr was a huge influence on an old writing project I’m trying to finish.
