With this V2 release the colour saturation of the blu-ray has been reduced even more compared to the previous release and the brightness has been left the same as the blu-ray, giving the film a more natural and filmic look overall.

2GB, 9GB and 23GB versions of the Justice League V2 (2017) release are now available at two new places where the_magicman is uploading all my releases. The old place has become unreliable so I am no longer posting any releases there. All those interested in knowing where those two new places are, send me a PM.

Here are some screencap comparisons for this release:

So, I totally disagree with the comments on the Last Jedi regrade not looking good. They look amazing. However, I’m not feeling the Justice League regrades at all. Screenshot 4 seems almost to white, and to my untrained eyes, the skintones don’t scream natural to me. Screenshot 5 seems to lose detail in the stained glass and image of the fire on the TV looks a little washed out. I know, it’s Snyder so, there’s this strong tint there, but it doesn’t seem as horrible as Man of Steel or BvS was. I dunno just my thoughts. Still, it’s greatly appreciated and I know there are people who will prefer what you did here over the bluray for sure.
Also, I liked how in the past when you did two version like this you added your personal opinion on which one you think looks better/ which one you like more. V1 vs V2. I’d love to see you continue that if you do more of these multiple versions.

Thanks Ccooluke for the kind words, I think The Last Jedi looks great as well, much better than the blu-ray, but once you get into regrading, you quickly learn that colour preferences are very subjective and its impossible to please everyone, so the only way to not go mad is to make sure that you as the releaser are happy with what you’ve done.

As for Justice League, i’ve checked and I’m certain I removed the correct amount of blanket yellow tint here. For this V2 release I purposefully chose parts of the film that leaned towards blue after the blanket yellow tint as been removed to show how reducing the saturation compared to the punchier first release gives the blue tinted scenes a more natural filmic look. With the first release, I went for a punchier more colorful look like my Man of Steel, Wonder Woman and Batman V Superman regrades, with this V2 release I went for a more natural subdued look.

I like having the option of putting out more than one version like I did with Blade Runner 2049 but I don’t really want to be doing more than 2 versions of one film at one time. That means that in future I can return and create a new version but at one time, 2 versions are enough IMHO.
