Assistance with ANH:R -- Any place to find it as 1 file?

Hello there.

I tried to watch A New Hope: Revisited (thank you so much to adywan). But when I downloaded the files, they were in 7 parts.

I was planning on using VLC to combine them together, but it proved to be too difficult.

Is there any place I could find the movie as 1 file?

7 parts, as in 7 video files, or 7 parts as in 7 .rar files?

VTS_51_1.VOB ; VTS_51_2.VOB ; VTS_51_3.VOB ; VTS_51_4.VOB ; VTS_51_5.VOB ; VTS_51_6.VOB ; VTS_51_7.VOB

were part of a larger extracted winrar file. I’m not very good at this stuff, so I am sorry if I am explaining it poorly.

I also tried another option and went to this page: https://swrevisited.wordpress.com/how-to-get-revisited/

and clicked: NTSC DVD-9 8GB

which brought me to mega and had 7 files. I was hoping to find the movie as one video file.

That’s just because it’s a DVD file (and standard definition).

Just right click the folder with all the files in it (probably a VIDEO_TS folder) and play with VLC. It’ll play as one full length movie.

Is there any way I can save it as one whole movie?

It is one whole movie. Don’t click the individual VOB files, but run the DVD as I said.

What, specifically, do you want to do? Make it into an MKV file? Use the program “Make MKV” for that.

Oh, interesting. Yes, I would like to make it into an MKV file. Thank you for being patient with me; this is not my forte at all. Hopefully your idea works.

EDIT: It worked. Thank you very much!

I’d like to jump in and ask if there’s anyway to save it to a hard drive and watch it on another device like a ps4 or Xbox.
I’m not great at this stuff either. Thanks!
