So I’ve been going back and forth on possible new video editor software. I used to use an older version of Adobe Premiere for a few years (couldn’t afford anything for that time) and just a few months ago started using Vegas Pro 15. While I like certain elements of it, I feel Premiere (even my old version) is much more intuitive. And yet, I keep hearing how many bugs there are in Premiere…plus the whole subscription thing is kind of meh…I downloaded Davinci Resolve and have started looking into it…and maybe it’s because I used Premiere for so long, but it just seems to take forever to accomplish anything in it (especially the node based Fusion). I’m leaning towards After Effects for…well…effects work but I’m undecided about the editing side of things.

I’m fully willing to admit I haven’t wanted to put in the effort to learning something other than Adobe…BUT…

What does everyone else use? For editing and effects? I’m curious AND your views might help me make a decision. 😉
