Nicely done! I like this edit quite a bit. The ewoks are more formitable. Almost all of the goofiness is gone from the battle (the “I love you” exchange is still there, but what can you do, am I right?). 😉

One thing I did a long time ago was change 3PO’s “We surrender” to some bit of Ewok-ese which made it seem like he was in on the plan.

Another thing I tried, which I couldn’t get to work to my satisfaction was to have Chewy (in the AT-ST) kill the troopers who were about to kill Han and Leia.
