Thor passed the leader mantle to Valkyrie and decided to just be himself. Then he took off with Quill for new adventures. He may or may not still be an overweight alcoholic.

I would miss a GOTG scene. I wonder if Quill looked up his family before leaving Earth? His grandfather was still alive in GOTG Voi. 2. And what was the tapping/pinging sound heard over the Marvel logo at the end???
