Bob Iger posted a sneak peek of the Disney+ UI today on Twitter. And guess what! The artwork used for A New Hope is the original theatrical artwork (minus the words “a new hope” of course). Could this be a hint that the theatrical version will get a legit re-release?

It annoys me how they felt the need to add the “A New Hope” subtitle in there instead of just letting it be called “Star Wars (1977),” but I suppose they had no other choice.

I think it’s just because they rebranded and so SW will be the biggest part of the logo not the episode name.
