Yes, but I don’t want Mark showing up on my doorstep in a Joker costume either. Not to mention he’s voicing the new Chucky! 😛

I did voice over stuff back in college, for my own projects and for others. I recorded dialog with my head stuck in a large cardboard tube to simulate wearing a space helmet once. I’ve found automobile interiors also work well for recording booths.

Yeah, I saw the new Child’s Play trailer the other day— I’m really curious to see how Mark’s “Chucky” turned out!

I guess a car would work well-- it would be pretty sound proof & the upholstery would deaden reflections a lot. My walk-in closet is really perfect except when a plane goes overhead or there’s a thunderstorm, or a guy outside with a leaf blower, etc.

When I was a kid, I asked my mom for a tape recorder, and I used to “interview” my friends and family, and do radio drama-type shows with sound effects and stuff, lol. I used to record myself reading some of my favorite books, too. I used that same recorder to record the audio to Star Wars off HBO when it first aired (didn’t have a VCR yet), and other Star Wars-related TV shows.
