i will suggest 1280 x 536 without black bars.
the file isn´t as big like 1920 x 1080.
at 3m from tv you don´t see a different.

Besides Giger’s Alien, that is, which I can get off the 'spleen.

there are 2 different vesions off them.1 from vhs and 1 from laserdisc.

I really enjoyed watching this cut, DestronTC. You’ve done a nice job stitching this together. I enjoyed seeing so many of the obscure ship miniature footage, also.

i´ve done this with my star wars project…

I just finished watching your V2. Great job. Had a few fun suprises along the way, no idea there was so many extra scenes I had never heard off. I was really caught off guard for that part on the Derelict which we see those Space Jockey’s drawings displaying the Alien’s life cycle. Incredible. I noticed you placed the egg morphing scene before Ripley activated the self-destruct. Was it because if it was placed after it, the scenes would go over the 10 minutes until detonation?

Hope everything goes well for your v3. I really appreciate what you are doing. ALIEN is a movie I can always have it longer. 10/10.

Alternate bits of Ripley and Parker’s argument. Color correction isn’t final but probably fine. I also wanted to test the 1080p grain overlay on top of standard def footage. It actually did a lot less than I thought it would.
