Not everyone can stream to their heart’s content even if they wanted to. Conversation I had with the phone company guy installing my new DSL said it would take an act of Congress to get high speed fiber optic cables installed in areas like where I live. Physical media isn’t going anywhere.

Wake me when they stop making Compact Discs. 😉

I really hope you’re right. I too am an old fashioned physical media kind of guy. However, I do realize that most people these days watch movies and TV shows on streaming services and on digital. Plus, many people have made a solid argument that physical media takes up space in their homes. The same can be said for video games too. Most people are now purchasing new games on their consoles than going out to a store like GameStop to buy the game. My brother now buys new releases on his PlayStation 4 these days. Personally, I have more faith in physical media than I do in digital devices, because I feel that just one accidental click can remove all my content.
