Did anyone get the film from the link given safely? I totally don’t mind paying for the theatrical cut that I’ve been trying to find for so long, but it seems like this site wants you to buy vouchers from a shifty russian website and putting my credit card out there seems dodgy. Just wondering of this has worked for anyone

I’m amazed that absolutely no torrent site I’ve been to has the theatrical cut to download whatsoever. Madness. This sounds like it was a great project, is the person who undertook this still around (been over 4 years now)? As above people have inquired, any links to this? I’d love to see the theatrical cut in any form, really (I’ve only seen the DC which I liked but I also want to see this to see how it holds up), why is it that its digital imprint has all but been eliminated on the Internet?

Not sure if jimbotron235 is still following this message board but I wanted to give him a big shout out for doing this. I hate the DC of this film with a passion and it’s been years since I have seen the original cut. I enjoyed the heck out of watching this last night. Such a great movie. I wonder if there are any useable 35mm prints of this floating around out there…

I too would like a link of this if it exists. I can offer proof of purchase of a blu-ray of the director’s cut so that karmically it’ll be relatively ok for me to download this.

I would also love the link please. The theatrical cut was the one that sparked my love for cinema and classical music years ago, but the director’s cut ruined the film in my opinion. Thanks a million for your effort!

I have a question, is the old flipper disc open matte on side 2?

Or is just the film spread in two parts like the Laserdisc?
