Rikter provides material that is not commercially available and if something does become commercially available he pulls the disc/s out of circulation. Rikter may be prominent around here for that but he's not the only one to spread discs. MagFan made fan-edits of the first 2 Star Wars prequels, and Lucas has said that he doesn't mind people doing this as long as they're not profiting from it. He even edited films himself when he was young.

Quite simply, everything done here is out of love of the Star Wars franchise, and everybody whose downloaded any fan-edits, unreleased material or LD-Rips, is sure to own a set of the Star Wars films on official VHS, LD or DVD - some people on this board have bought 20 versions, all legal and official, of these films over the years. You cannot say that they aren't supporting Lucasfilm/Star Wars.
