This is a Comparison of a bunch of CC’s I have seen lately. They were made by taking images from of all the sources as well as a No DNR version of 4K77 and running them through Dr Dre’s Wonderful Colour Matching Algorithm. I personally prefer NevearGreats and Dr Dre’s but please give me your opinions.

The 93 Laserdisc is the best for that particular shot in my opinion, but that shot is plain weird anyway not only just color but the shot starts before he even starts acting! That was because they were covering up other shots that were missing. It was probably added late in production, well the shot is longer than it was meant to be.
I really don’t understand what this means. Takes are frequently used from “before” or “after” an actor “starts acting” (that is, before “Action” is called or after “Cut” is), that’s not unusual in the slightest and there’s pretty much no way to know if this is the case unless someone working on the film explicitly said so, you were there yourself, or have raw on set video/audio to look at.
Plus, what makes you say the shot is “longer than it was meant to be” or that it’s “covering up shots that were missing?” From an editing standpoint, that shot is long specifically to build tension because you expect it to cut away and for action to start, just like the soldier is tense and waiting for the action to start.
If something was “missing” that needed to be “covered up,” there’s tons of other b-roll from this series of takes that could have been used instead of extending a shot that shouldn’t have been extended, which would make the scene feel awkward. But it doesn’t. Because that shot is supposed to be that long because it helps put the viewer in that soldier’s head by abruptly halting the rhythm of the rest of the scene. Intentionally.
So, do you have sources for any of those claims or are you just making stuff up?

The R2-D2 and 3P0 in the Corridor has no place in the film either it’s a promo shot they also used to cover the gap.
