I think the 3rd Stage edition and the Spicediver Redux version are both good.
I would probably trim back on some of the Spicediver edits but remove even more inner thought dialogue. Improve some effects if possible.
I wish that all of the footage was available but it is not. I really like the film though.
Read through some of the scripts on dune info it is interesting.
