"About The Game: After LucasArts cancelled Sam & Max Freelance Police, a handful of the game's former team moved on to open their own games company, Telltale Games. Their goal: to create episodic, character-driven adventure games.
Bone is the first adventure game they've announced, based on the popular semi-independent comic which ran regularly for about a decade but recently completed its run.
We don't know a ton about Telltale's Bone game, aside from the fact that it will be a fully 3D adventure game, and, much like Telltale Texas Hold'Em, Bone will be sold online through Telltale's website, and other games portals.
As the game is further in development, we'll definitely have more to tell you.
LucasArts Says: LucasArts has nothing to do with Bone, but here's what Telltale has to say:
Lost in the desert and dying of thirst, the Bone cousins are separated by an angry swarm of locusts. Now Fone Bone, armed only with a mysterious map and his well-loved copy of Moby Dick, searches a strange valley to try and find his lost relatives. Along the way he will come face to face with its unusual denizens and begin to be drawn into the greater intrigues that surround the valley.
Telltale Games brings you all the humor, charm and mystery of Jeff Smith's acclaimed comic book series Bone. Fans of the comic and adventure gamers alike will find a new home in the valley, as they explore familiar locations and interact with its residents in this character driven adventure. "
The hardcore adventure gamer in me leaps for joy!!
Ooo, Ooo, my Bomberman DS copy has arrived! Unfortunally I sent it to my parents home in order to save money and time on the delivery, and I'll only be able to get it friday...
Welcome back Chaltab, hope you had some good vacations, as far away from videogames as possible. Now it's time for fun outside, not for videogames and TV...

All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering
Actually I've been spending most of my non-vacation time at the computer anyways. Or reading comics.
Though I did rent Mercenaries earlier this summer, which was fun. And Spiderman 2. Eh. This summmer has not been great for gaming. And I've already beaten all of the "Mercenaries" missions on Resident Evil 4, so like Sess, I have nothing new to play on consoles until Zelda comes out.
I might pick up Kirby's Canvas Curse or Meteos for the DS, though. Or I could do the unthinkable and actually *Gasp* try to finish BG&E and Ninja Gaiden...

Though I doubt it.
I didn't enjoy Meteos much, I played the downloadable demo. I'd go for Kirby.
Do you know that japanese game with Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Yu-gi-oh (*sigh*) characters? That's a game I'd like to have... Is the ocidental Nintendo DS able to play japanese games?

i'm thinking about purchasing a ds soon. Only thing stopping me is the fact that I haven't played my SP much since buying it about 10 weeks ago. And i understand the whole rehashing bit. it is annoying. Now Hollywood, Silicone Valley and the Music Industry have lost all creativity pretty much.

Click on "galeria" and you'll see some screenshots. Unfortunally those are beta-screenshots, I wasn't able to find the finished game screenshots quickly right now, I'll post them later. The game looks much better than these screenshots show, and it plays out like "super smash brothers". Available only in Japan. Yes, you can play with Monkey D Ruffy against Son Goku against Naruto or Sasuke...

It's Monkey D Ruffy in japanese because japanese dosent have the L sound. Since he is known as Ruffy over here, I call him Ruffy. Same for Lupin (or Rupin). He is Rupin in Japan, but I call him Lupin, as he is called here.

I bought a magazine called "PC Action: Emulate!" a few months ago that came with a cover disc chock full of emulators. Maybe if I can figure out how I could send you a MAME engine, I think it had 3 or 4 on the disc.
Anyone know a good combat flight-sim type game? Not looking for the WWII sims...looking for modern stuff. I also don't want to spend weeks trying to learn how to play it. I know that's a tall order, but god, someone must make a fairly easy to use game. I used to have a game called Commanche, which was a helicopter flight game that was awesome!
How about a burned copy of Grim Fandango? I would give you the original, except for the fact that I don't have the original. I also have X-Wing Alliance, if you'd prefer that. I'll include CD-R's with ScummVM and all the Lucasarts Scumm games as a bonus.
