well last night I attended a Pink Floyd concert...

no not the real Pink Floyd... they're a cover band from Austrailia which i must admit did one hell of a job....
they sound so much like the real Floyd its scary...
so if any of you hear of them coming to your area i highly suggest attending....
you wont regret it!

my favorite song of the night had to be "welcome to the machine"..
both encores were pretty cool too...
"wish you were here" and "comfortably numb"

all in all it was quite an experience that i wish i could have all over again...
im just jealous to those who have seen Pink Floyd in concert when they were still together...

maybe one day....

I know that australian band, they are one of the best, I've listened to their live version of Dogs, and it sounded so close to the album version...

I don't belive Pink Floyd will ever re-group again, and I don't think Roger Waters is going to tour again - he was here in 2002 and I missed it . But who knows, maybe one day they might do a world tour again, performing classic songs such as Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, Echoes (my favorite song), every songs in Dark Side opf the Moon and Wish you Were Here, Dogs, Confortably Numb, and then Echoes again...

i was hoping they were gonna play dogs... but they never got around to it...
we did get the whole Dark Side of the Moon album... which was quite a trip!!
and then we got welcome to the machine, keep talking, careful with that axe eugene... and a bunch of others...
nothing off animals though


im glad at least someone knew who i was talking about though....

And I'm glad to see there is someone who enjoys Pink Floyd as much as I do.

nope...
actually i was surprised they played some of what they did...

i was totally expecting Hey You or Pigs (three different ones)
i could have even done without "another brick in the wall"

im sick of all their mainstream stuff...
its too overplayed on some of the radio stations up here....

but as i said if your a Floyd fan you should definatly check these guys out...
