BUP files are "back-up files" of IFOs. DVD players will use BUP files if the IFOs are not readable. Try this:

- Move vts_01_0.bup to another folder for safe keeping if needed again.
- Make a copy of vts_01_0.ifo and rename the copy vts_01_0.bup.
- Attempt burning again.

If it still doesn't play, move the original vts_01_0.bup back and do the opposite -- move vts_01_0.ifo out and copy vts_01_0.bup, renaming it vts_01_0.ifo.
