I recently read an interview with Nick Stahl in which he stated that he will not be in T4 because it is set much later than T3 and the character of John Connor will be much older.

heres the twin paradox of time lest see what you guys think of it

Our story stars two twins, sometimes unimaginatively named A and B; we prefer the monikers Stella and Terence. Terence sits at home on Earth. Stella flies off in a spaceship at nearly the speed of light, turns around after a while, thrusters blazing, and returns. (So Terence is the terrestrial sort; Stella sets her sights on the stars.)

When our heroes meet again, what do they find? Did time slow down for Stella, making her years younger than her home-bound brother? Or can Stella declare that the Earth did the travelling, so Terence is the younger?

IMHO they should have stopped at two. T1 and T2 were great, but T3 was bad. And a T4 with Arnie will probably be not much better than T3, and a T4 without Arnie is doomed to failure. In short, DON'T MAKE T4!!!!!

I believe that, according to Einstein, stella would return to an aged Terence.
As for OSC, I've only read Ender's game, which I really enjoyed. What's his other stuff like?

It can always be canceled. Happens all the time. A script must first be approved. By the writers, director, and the studio. Then there's casting and all that other prepro stuff they do. At any stage in the game, it can be canned. I pray it will be.

It could never be enough to make up for T2 and T3. Unless... a terminator is sent back to 1991 and 2003 with instructions to kill James Cameron and Jonathan Mostow before they can make those films. Now there's a possibility. Anyone want to make a fan "tribute" film?

I wouldn't say it was harsh. It was his opinion of the movie. Just like I would say that the Star Wars prequels were about 90% pointless. He didn't call Arnie a bad name or threaten to burn every copy of the movie. He just said that there was really no reason to make a third movie.

I wouldn't say that since Cameron didn't walk into Terminator saying, "I'm going to make four movies." It's just a product of the machine... like Batman and Robin (1997).

Not at all. The end of Terminator made the war imminent, yet T2 turned this completely around (and I am a BIG fan of T2) and got rid of the war. T2 was not intended, and yet T1 still was a great ending.

T3, which I didn't like, not only made the war imminent *again*, but even showed us the initial skirmish.

i honestly don't see it happening. for one the box office take for t3 was terrible.
