The Prequels already have a main ship. Or many. It always has the same interior, but changes exteriors more often than a functional Tardis. I am referring of course to Padme’s ship(s). Ideally, I’d like her to just have one, but giving them all the same exterior is probably more trouble than it’s worth. I’m just gonna assume it’s the same ship with various redesigns over the years. I call it the Paradise, echoing the beauty of its home planet, its chrome polish, and the idealism of its owner. Really, its changing design is just a symptom of a wider problem of inconsistency with the prequels. Everyone and everything looks completely different in each film.

Anyway, this isn’t the thread for this.

I agree there’s a strong nostalgia factor with the Falcon that works phenomenally in TFA, but is just kinda there in TLJ. The reason I want to replace it with a ship like the Twilight is to give the trilogy its own identity. As it stands, it’s far too reliant on nostalgia and rehashing old ideas. This would be a step in the right direction.
