Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars film. This pretty much guarantees I’ll be a subscriber to their streaming service. I was already interested enough in The Mandalorian. This seals the deal. Two new shows, both free of the weight of The Saga. Looks like we may be getting actual EU stories.
These two shows are much more interesting to me than any of the films they’ve announced. I’m not interested in Rey anymore and I certainly don’t care about a Rian-helmed trilogy.
Looking forward to finding out who’ll be writing and helming the show (c’mon Ron D. Moore…) and more details - hopefully a more pragmatic ‘greyer’ view and feel of the world a la Rogue One.
Oh man, I hadn’t thought about that. Moore would be perfect for either of these!
