Where should Lucasfilm go after Episode IX?

Sounds perfect. I can’t imagine that time gap would match the real one though. I think 50 would be decent compromise, but I don’t think the corporate machine could wait that long.

I wouldn’t call it the “Skywalker saga.” It may have focus on the Skywalker family, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s about them. The originals were its own thing, the prequels told the backstory of the characters from the classic trilogy, and the sequels are about new characters, while the original characters still have a major role in the films, since we want to see where they are, not to mention them being galactic heroes. If Lucasfilm decides to make Episodes X, XI and XII, I think it would be a nice Segway from Episode IX to the fourth trilogy by having Rey and Ben lead off with their potential kids. Yes, I do think Kylo Ren and Rey will, in a way, end up together. Those are just my thoughts.
