How long before Lucas decides to have THIS redubbed for the Fett voice?

Lucas: Mr. Morrison, interested in a quick $5000?
Morrison: What do I have to do?
Lucas: whispering, Redub the Holiday special.
Morrison: I didn't hear you.
Lucas: louder, Redub the Holiday special.
Morrison: No way. I have standards for what I agree to work on.
Lucas: But you appeared in Barbwire!
Morrison: Yes, and Barbwire actually resembles Casablanca compared to the Holiday Special.

Not sure whether you intended it or not, but amusingly enough 'BarbWire' IS a remake of Casablanca! I realized it a few mintues into the film and laughed my ass off.

Then my ass came back and I realized the movie was crap... but still a remake nonetheless!

It was intentional.

I actually did not realize it until a few months ago when a patron here at the library asked about it. He couldn't think of the name Barbwire, just that it was Casablanca, in the future, with a blonde.
The more I think about it, the more I see the connections.

I think I failed to catch the resemblance because Bogart's Rick was much more subtle about the help he tried to provide.
Plus, Barbwire isn't a movie you really think much about as you watch it...if you get my meaning.

yeah, im sure the patron came in and was like someone told me about this Casablanca remake, I dont know the name, but its in the future with a blond. because he didnt want to come in and say, do you have Barbwire, that movie with Pamela Anderson.
