I’m not sure how that would be Jason’s take as well. He just hates when a post is not 100% absolutely laser focused on the OP topic for every letter of that post.
So you are trying to make some sort of off topic point across the boards here about there being no more political discussions on the site?
Seems there have been multiple temp-locks and requests for civility in the political discussion threads (the previous main political thread was also locked because of this - and a request from Jay to ‘start fresh after all the vitriol and personal attacks that occurred there’ & ‘Keep it civil, please’ in the new political thread that was continually ignored) - yet instead baseless accusations and some volatile posting seemed to be a regular occurrence; and more so of late. That Jay has seemingly decided the site would likely be better off without this low quality baiting discourse (in amongst some civil, intriguing and wide-ranging views discussions by the few who put some effort, consideration and thought into their posts) shouldn’t really come as a surprise.
As for some of the ‘not being able talking about it’ type posts on the site over the past day or so… (including yours here) maybe try in a constructive and meaningful manner to engage in discourse with Jay and the mods - instead of the somewhat unproductive and divisive posting that has been occurring so far.
If you actually wish to discuss it further with me send me a PM (though given your last PM to me, your first since your return from a temp-ban for repeated derailing of threads, flaming/baiting, personal attacks etc… despite multiple requests, PMs, and warnings not to continue, and since further warning not to continue) - in which you attacked me, the mods and the site - I suggest you give more effort, consideration and thought into it if you wish to have an actual meaningful dialogue.
You are right though - this thread is for sport - not for your continuing tantrums/agenda vs Jay, a poor attempt at being some sort of martyr on here of late, nor trying to point score off me.
No laser focusing required 😉 Though you seem to have forgot the evidence already presented to you on just some of the times you derailed certain threads beforehand (of which you claimed you previously hadn’t) - and your admittance that you did derail certain threads. In the interests of balance and facts I thought I’d remind you.
And once again, just in case, this thread is for sport (though I’ve done you the courtesy of replying and addressing some of your possible issues here).
