on the subject of the 2006 Bonus discs , aka the GOUT , which I own …a few observations …I have a few different tv displays in my home . from lcd to crt and I have noticed that they look different in quality when viewed on different displays . They look crisper on a crt monitor and I think it is because older films were not made with HD displays like the flat panel widescreen tv’s we have today . I remember seeing film grain and scratches when I would see films in the theater as a kid in the late 70s and early 80s .And I am not arguing against an official high quality release . just sharing my observations. The best display that I have found to watch it on is my Samsung slimfit 38 inch widescreen CRT tv which was gifted to me a couple years ago , it is from 2006 and is HD (720 p) capable and even has 2 hdmi ports , the only CRT tv I have ever seen like this … The Image actually fills the screen in letterbox format without stretching the image and with no window boxing and it looks pretty sharp .when viewed on my 60 inch lcd , it is stretched to fit and looks very old and faded .Also , if you take the insert out of the front cover of each disc , you can turn it around and re insert it and have some nice painted theatrical posters instead of the lazy photo shop recreations
