Idea: Harry Potter Movies with Video Game Music

I was wondering if anyone out there has ever thought about making fan edits of the Harry Potter movies, re-scoring them with the music featured in the Potter games. It is something that I am curious about. I still think the music in the movies is great and is the definitive Harry Potter music, but this is something that I think would be fun.

I think you may have misread the topic. I am talking about a project that re-scores all of the Harry Potter movies with music from the Harry Potter video game adaptations. It’s a different series of soundtracks. You can listen to the music from the games here.

I don’t necessarily intend on making this, I just thought this is a specific topic that’d be fun to discuss about, and quite possibly spark the ideas for other fan editors to try out for fun.

You’re probably right. Have you thought about trying to re-score some scenes from the movies with the game’s music? I’m not great when it comes to re-scoring.

It was briefly suggested in the video that inspired that thread. I recommend reposting those links there to keep things all in one place. It’d be nice if you could make a few more too. It’s an idea that has potential.

I don’t understand what you meant about that. I also did not make the videos that I posted in the thread. I may be able to make some more in December.
