For me personally , archiving the laserdiscs is the most important first step, that means just removing dirt scratches and physical damage, and fixing colour abberations.
Don't take this thread as an indication of where the X0 project or any project is going, just as a repositry for all of the physical problems with the films, glitches, errors, and stuff that bugs you that perhaps could be fixed.
That way everyone can use it, wether doing a purists version or a Lucas style special edition, and it might encourage some folks to embark on their own projects, or at least find some kindred spirits.
I'll have a think about a classification system as well, probably not a bad idea.
In another week or so, I'll go back and start compiling it into a list of things for the fron tpage of the thread, and start attaching frame numbers and things as I work them out.
