You just proved your ignorance right there. He wouldn't rule you out doesn't mean you are employed. He did pick me, not you. Remember? Therefore you are not an employee. Just because you are being considered doesn't mean shit. Corporations constantly consider outsiders for positions in their company. That's how the hiring process works. Just because they are being considered doesn't mean they are employees.
