My goal wasn’t to make a direct comparison, but to demonstrate that Russian disinformation tactics rely on lack of intelligence and critical thinking ability to rile up their target. He didn’t condemn them. He said they “should be condemned” and then proceeded to defend their rally without actually condemning them and their rally or denouncing their support of him.

Finally admitting it? I’ve felt that way for a long time. I haven’t been pretending. I’ve always thought Trump’s supporters were morons. I don’t think that all of his voters are bad or stupid. I explained the distinction I make between Trump voters and supporters a while ago.
