Hi all,
Just watched these, thanks to ocpmovie (cheers garret), and I've gotta big up Wookie Groomer for his fantastic work that will long stand out in my collection for its unique and informative take on the varying changes to my favourite films throughout the years.
The one thing that stood out the most for me was the endor celebration at the end of ROTJ. So many cuts in the 2004 version, luke and leias hug especially has been cut to hell, for the worse without a shadow of a doubt. Throughout the trilogy I'd become so used to seeing the lower half of the screen black while the various special edition scenes played out, that seeing the top half go black here and there I went back and watched it in slow motion. While the 2004 half does have a few extened scenes of the ewoks, rebels and threepio dancing, both the hug, and Luke's contented expression as he turns to the ghosts (now ruined BTW), suffer greatley in the 2004 version.
Whilst I thought I was fully aware of even the minor changes in the trilogy, this one has thrown me of my guard (which IMO is a credit again to Wookie Groomer).
What are other peoples thoughts on this seemingly pointless dismissal of some very powerful frames?

Yea, the luke/ghost scene at the end was horrible. What was the reason for chopping it up and making it shorter? I am also not 100% sure i like the young anakin ghost,.
