I was actually referring to the drug laws. I should’ve been more specific. Is it really conspiratorial to say that the reason private prisons lobby for harsher drug laws is because they have a financial interest in keeping as many people in prison as possible? Is that really on par with “Sandy Hook was a hoax!”?
