THAT is the most ludicrious attempt at a PT-OT tie-in--and justifying lucas' strategic employment of OT touchstones in the PT for marketing purposes--I have ever heard, and probably ever will hear.
yeah that is pretty bad, i have heard some people say that the reason chewie was put in was to create a link between him and the jedi order, just in the sense to show that he was a friend of the order, thereby making him trust obiwan more. but thats a loose idea too.
