Ignoring the he-said-she-said aspect of this currently, I’m simply stunned at how ridiculously partisan Kavanaugh sounded during the hearing.
I would expect anyone being considered for the Supreme Court to be a little less partisan.
Why would you expect that? Honestly, I’m curious why. SCOTUS picks are the most partisan things a President can do.
Maybe it’s just wishful thinking but I feel like everyone’s always eager to State how they don’t like it when anyone on the Supreme Court says anything publicly that sounds political and yet during his hearing cavanal kept getting pissed off at the Democrats the Democrats the Democrats.
Sure picking the nominee is very partisan but the nominee themselves acting partisan?
