There are so many retailer exclusives now that its crazy what is and isn’t left out of different releases.
For Disney movies since Black Panther Wal-Mart has not had digital codes. Why? I couldn’t tell you. This is the first time it has affected a Star Wars release. It is kind of stupid how the Wal-Mart “exclusive” is the normal one without a digital code.
If you want a Blu-ray-Dvd-Digital you have to go through Disney Movie Club, which is again silly.
Target has its exclusive packaging since Rogue One with the bigger boxes akin to the LOTR DVD Extended Editions. This release this time around is 4K-BR-Digital. They are really cool but for sake of consistency I go with the next option.
Best-Buy is the steelbook store which is 4k-BR-Digital this time around. For TLJ they had two waves of steelbooks for BR-DVD-DIgital or 4K-BR-Digital, this time theres only one choice. All the Star Wras movies I have are in steelbook form because I like them to match.
The standard releases are BR-Digital, 4K-BR-Digital, or DVD ONLY. These can be found almost anywhere, I think even certain Wal-Marts… (WalMart needs to get their crap together)
These are all the US releases of Solo that I am aware of.
