I never said anything should be embraced, I just said that it shouldn’t be ignored or covered up. Obviously if you stick your hand in a 500-degree oven, the reality is that you’re burning your hand. That doesn’t mean you should do it, but you should be aware of those consequences. I’m very opposed to intentionally keeping people ignorant, or even unintentionally allowing people to be ignorant, so I think parents are responsible for making sure that their kids don’t end up as ignorant as everyone else is.
